How long have you been associated the U.S. Army? My dad has been a U.S. Army soldier since I was born, so I’ve been associated with it my whole life.
Where have you lived as a military Family Member? I have lived in the U.S. (mainly the east coast), Germany, and South Korea.
You just graduated from high school, correct? Yes. I graduated from Daegu High School in June and will be attending George Mason University as a freshman [in the fall].
What area(s) do you plan to focus on in your studies? I am going to be majoring in nursing.
How did you learn about the Summer Hire Program? I heard about it from a friend.
Did you have a specific position you were hoping to get? I didn’t have a specific position in mind, I just wanted work experience.
Tell us about your job and what you do: I work with the S6 which deals with IT work. I primarily do things like inventory.
What are some of the things you learned while working at the 403rd AFSB? I learned what pelican cases are and the importance of serial numbers on things like desktop computers.
What are some of your accomplishments while at the 403rd AFSB? I know how to rewire a cable.
Do you have any special memories you will take with you? I will remember all the time spent with my supervisors.
What are the best things about working at 403rd AFSB? The people that work there.
What do you like to do in your free time? Hang out with my friends or go shopping.
