KUNSAN AIR BASE, Republic of Korea-- Teams from the 8th Maintenance Squadron, the 35th and 80th Fighter Generation Squadrons battled out during the 8th Maintenance Group’s 3rd Quarter Weapons Load Crew Competition at Kunsan Air Base, Republic of Korea, Oct. 21, 2022.

Teams were tasked with loading munitions onto F-16 Fighting Falcons while competition evaluators graded their knowledge, proficiency, performance, time and weapons load technical abilities.

A team from each squadron took home gold. 'Team 2' from the 8th MXS took home the munitions assembly trophy, the 80th FGS "Juvats" earned the munitions loading trophy and the 35th FGS "Pantons" won the Dedicated Crew Chief competition.
