How long have you been working for the U.S. Army?

For a total of 31 years. Ten years active-duty Army, 13 Years activate Army Reserve, and 19 years as a contractor supporting the Army.

What other positions have you held with the U.S. Military?

In the active duty Army I was a Signal Support Systems Specialist. In the Army Reserve I was Rear Battle Analyst/Fire Support Sergeant.

Tell us about your job and what you do:

I serve as Information Management Officer, System Administrator, and Telephone Control Officer for LRC-North, 403rd Army Field Support Brigade. I’m responsible for the troubleshooting of all software applications and hardware components, the installation of computers, printers, and digital scanners, and the configuration of all Non-classified Internet Protocol Router Network computers to comply with latest Army Gold Master updates.

How long have you been in this position?

I have worked for the 403rd AFSB for 13 years.

What other duties are you responsible for?

I manage and create user and computer accounts, manage LRC-North’s Army Training & Tracking system for users with computer accounts, provision and configure Voice Over Internet Protocol phones for the unit, create and manage the email distro list, and other various tasks.

What are some of your accomplishments while at LRC-North?

I manage the workload for the upper portion of Korea with one local national IMO, unlike other locations that have anywhere from 5 to 10 personnel. I was able to correct several issues that were identified when I first took over the unit as IMO.

What is the best thing about working at LRC-North?

The work environment and the people I work with and support.

What do you like to do in your free time?

I enjoy spending time with my family.

Do you have a special skill or talent you would like to share?

I like to build computers for my family. Also, I am a semi-pro bowler currently ranked number two in the LRC-North bowling league consisting of five people.
