Congratulations to Staff Sgt. Tommia Miller, 8th Operational Medical Readiness Squadron mental health technician, for her selection as this week’s Pride of the Pack!

As a mental health technician, Miller is responsible for helping ensure members are in the proper mental space to perform their jobs as well as provide those who are struggling with resources to strengthen their resiliency.

“It feels great (to be recognized). I enjoy the reassurance that I am doing my job well,” said Miller. “We sometimes forget the impact our jobs have on the overall mission. I’m thankful we have a great mental health team here at Kunsan.”

She noted that her favorite part of the job is knowing that she was able to provide a space for people to better develop their coping skills.

“She is one of the most hardworking individuals I know,” said Tech. Sgt. Martina Shannon-Young, 8th OMRS mental health flight chief. “She makes sure that our mission runs smoothly so that we can help the rest of the base maintain the mental stamina it takes to complete their duties.”

Thank you for all you do to help keep our Airmen mentally healthy and always ready to Fight Tonight!
