KUNSAN AIR BASE, Republic of Korea -- Considered by his peers to be the jack-of-all-trades for flight medicine, Staff Sgt. Emanuel Lookadoo, 8th Operations Medical Readiness Squadron independent duty medical technician, was selected as Kunsan Air Base’s Pride of the Pack for the week of Nov 13-17.

Lookadoo was nominated for his outstanding work ethic in keeping the Airmen of Kunsan AB “fit to fight” while sick call patient output increased by 400%.

When asked how it felt knowing that he was selected for Pride of the Pack, Lookadoo reflected on his mentors’ influence.

“Members go about their day doing really good work and it doesn't always get recognized so, having my leadership reward my work felt good and I would like to thank them for recognizing me,” said Lookadoo.

Lookadoo was also the sole clinical subject matter expert for the day shift during Vigilant Defense 24, creating medical relevant injects and inspecting how the 8th Medical Group delivers its care.

Lookadoo went on to show his appreciation for the flight medicine team.

“This is my first time working in flight medicine and I found out that there are a bunch of moving parts within the flight and they are a big part of how Kunsan operates,” said Lookadoo. “Leadership allows each flight to do their part and have the freedom to do our jobs without micromanaging, allowing us to deliver a good product.”

Congratulations to Staff Sgt. Lookadoo and thank you for your dedication and leadership to the Airmen of the Wolf Pack.
