KUNSAN AIR BASE, REPUBLIC OF KOREA -- Due to his exceptional work ethic and attention to detail, Tech. Sgt. Shane Borodycia was selected as this week’s Pride of the Pack.

Borodycia hit the ground running since his arrival to Kunsan Air Base. Aside from exceeding expectations as an 8th Healthcare Operations Squadron supply operations section chief, he filled additional duty responsibilities and stepped up in numerous leadership roles. Most recently, he worked with multiple agencies to facilitate an Airman’s medical emergency departure all while serving as the acting first sergeant.

“You always hear ‘Leave the place better than you found it,’ and I strive to do just that,” said Borodycia. “Understanding how I impact the mission is satisfying. However, getting out of my comfort zone by filling in as the acting first sergeant was also very rewarding. I am humbled by the Airmen I get to work with, serve and lead.”

Congratulations Tech. Sgt. Borodycia and thank you for your dedication to Wolf Pack Airmen!
