KUNSAN AIR BASE, Republic of Korea -- Col. Timothy B. Murphy, 8th Fighter Wing commander, and Chief Master Sgt. Steven G. Creek, 8th FW command chief, signed the the 2023 Suicide Prevention and Awareness Month proclamation, affirming support for suicide prevention and awareness efforts at Kunsan Air Base, Republic of Korea, Sept. 8, 2023.

While suicide is a complex problem with no single cause or solution, prevention is key and reaching out for help is a sign of strength. Help for those in crisis is within reach through the following organizations:
