To help residents and visitors enjoy the season, Seoul City has released the summer edition of the Seoul Festival Map, introducing 24 cultural festivals taking place citywide from June to August.
The map includes events ranging from traditional music and K-pop to heavy metal, theater, children’s arts festivals, and outdoor celebrations that serve as both cultural highlights and refreshing summer getaways.
Notable events include the 2025 Seoul Gugak Festival (June 7), Seoul Summer Vibe on Nodeul Island (June 13–14), and the Anyangcheon Summer Festival (August 23–24) featuring a riverside waterpark experience.
In commemoration of the 80th anniversary of Korea’s liberation, several patriotic-themed festivals will be held, including the Jingwan Arirang Festival (June 22), the musical Kim Maria (June 28), and the 2025 Patriotic Dance Festival (August 22–31).
For those seeking indoor comfort, the Seoul Theater Festival and Seoul ASSITEJ Summer Festival will present diverse performances through June and July, while events like the Mullae Metal City and Hong Nan-pa Sunset Concert offer musical diversity.
