From June 26 to 29, the BEXCO 2nd Exhibition Center in Haeundae will host a large-scale convergence of visual art and design as the 2025 14th BFAA Busan International Art Fair, the 2025 45th Busan Art Festival, and the 2025 Busan Design Festival take place together under one roof.
On one side of the venue, artworks by prominent Busan-based artists will be displayed, while the other side transforms into a design-focused festival with hands-on experiences, exhibitions, and lifestyle showcases. Hosted by the Busan Art Association and Design House, this unique collaboration aims to bridge the gap between creative expression and commercial design.
The art fair will showcase 3,000 works by 400 regional artists across 100 booths, creating a direct marketplace where artists can exhibit and sell their work. Highlights include a special exhibition on Kim Jeong-myeong, an invitational for young artists, media art installations, and an exchange with the Fukuoka Art Fair.
The Busan Art Festival, running concurrently, will present around 590 works spanning 12 genres, including Korean and Western painting, sculpture, crafts, calligraphy, folk and Buddhist art, and more, offering a full view of Busan’s vibrant creative scene.
This year’s inclusion of the Busan Design Festival adds further appeal, with a special zone in the hall linking art and design through interactive booths such as a café garden, craft house, and graphic goods showcase.
For the first time in Busan, lifestyle magazine House Full of Happiness brings its “Happiness Factory” to Haeundae’s Dalmaji-gil. The space recreates interior settings featured in the magazine, blending culture, design, and lifestyle brands.
Admission is 12,000 won, covering both the art fair and design festival. A 10,000-won “Happiness Factory” subscription also grants entry and includes a copy of the magazine with related content.
