The city of Busan will hold the “Busan Sale Festa” throughout June, organizing a concentrated series of events with local small business owners and traditional markets to stimulate regional consumption.

The initiative includes discounts at online malls, events in university and alley commercial districts, and promotional programs in traditional markets.

Major e-commerce platforms such as Naver, Gmarket, and 11st will host a “Busan Exclusive Hall” featuring discounted products from local small businesses, with 10–20% off select items. The promotion runs through July 8 and will return around major holidays.

Offline events will also take place in commercial districts. From June 13–15, Subivexco in Haeundae will host a sales festival tied to the Busan Food Film Festa, offering product discounts, film-themed events, and regional food sales.

Another event at Pusan National University’s shopping area will run June 20–22 with retro-themed performances, discount coupons, and outdoor activities.

82 traditional markets will hold Onnuri Gift Certificate refund events from June 12–14, offering shoppers partial refunds for purchases over 10,000 won. Special cultural and food programs will also be held at Suyeong Paldo Market and Deokpo Market from June 26–28.

Busan aims to boost consumer engagement and support small businesses while offering residents and tourists opportunities to explore local markets in a festive atmosphere.
