Busan welcomes fans of beloved global characters as two major pop-up stores open this month, featuring Crayon Shin-chan and Pokemon.
The Crayon Shin-chan pop-up store, themed “Crayon Shin-chan is on a journey,” is underway through November 24 at the Shinsegae Centum City Department Store. Known worldwide, the popular character and his friends bring a fun-filled experience for visitors of all ages.
The event showcases over 1,000 products, including Busan-exclusive merchandise such as Gwangalli-themed mood lights and acrylic stand keyrings.
Visitors receive a Busan-limited sticker, and purchases exceeding set amounts are rewarded with exclusive gifts, including a Shin-chan Jagalchi Market-themed keyring. A dedicated photo zone, featuring Busan landmarks like Gwangalli Beach and Jagalchi Market, invites visitors to capture memorable moments.
At the event venue, fans can also try out the Nintendo Switch game, “Whitey of the Coal Mining Town,” released earlier this year.
