Many Koreans visit fortune tellers or shamans for saju (Four Pillars), a traditional fortune telling based on a birth year, month, day and time before making big life decisions. Saju uses principles of Yin-Yang and the Five Elements to interpret your personality and predict career path, relationships and destiny. Though not everyone believes in it, many Koreans enjoy checking their saju in January for fun or to gain insight for the year ahead. If you’re curious to learn your future the Korean way, you can find saju fortune tellers in busy streets like Hongdae or Myeongdong.
