Hangang River has more things to enjoy than just banana boats! Seoul is now joining the trend of leisure resorts on Jeju Island and around the world to offer a variety of exciting and unique water sport experiences.

One popular program is yogaqua, also called celebrity yoga, which includes a lesson of elegant yoga taking place on a paddle board floating on the river. Yogaqua is a great work out, requiring one to find and hold their body in perfect equilibrium in order to stay atop their paddle board. If holding a downward facing dog sounds out of your league, sign up for stand-up paddle board instead. Enjoy the excitement of paddle boarding without too much worry about holding a pose or falling off.

Another unique experience is kayaking under the night sky. The night kayak experience begins at sunset and continues into the evening. After getting your fill of the inky waters, come ashore to enjoy a simple meal of chicken and beer at the chimaek party when signing up for the City Night Kayak course. The full experience from water safety education to the dinner party lasts about four hours.
