The “2024 Tripitaka Koreana Record Culture Festival” will take place from October 23 to 27 at the Tripitaka Koreana Theme Park in Hapcheon-gun.

This five-day festival aims to celebrate and promote the history and significance of the Tripitaka Koreana, a UNESCO World Heritage site, while also showcasing various aspects of traditional record culture.

This year’s festival will feature evening events, allowing visitors to enjoy the vibrant atmosphere under landscape lighting. Highlights include the “EDM Festival with Monk New Jin” and a “Record Culture Talk Show” with renowned lecturer Sim Yong-hwan.

Visitors will also have the opportunity to engage in interactive programs such as creating their own Tripitaka Koreana, crafting Hanji mood lights, and trying on traditional Tripitaka Koreana Seodang costumes.

Entertainment throughout the event will include magic, juggling, and bubble performances.

Additionally, the festival will feature an exhibition of winning entries from the Tripitaka Koreana National Art Competition at the Record Culture Hall, from October 22 to 26.

Chrysanthemum displays will decorate the theme park, enhancing the autumnal ambiance for visitors.
