Have you ever wondered what your kids will become when they grow up? There’s a perfect place where they can explore their endless possibilities and expand their dreams—KidZania! KidZania is a global chain of job-experience theme parks offering role-playing activities in various work environment studios. At KidZania, your kids can be anything they want to be: veterinarians, doctors, police officers, chefs, journalists, cartoonist and so much more!

KidZania Seoul and Busan each feature over 50 experience zones, many of which reflect the unique culture and society of Korea. In KidZania Seoul, new experiences were recently opened, including becoming a K-pop idol trainee at the Audition Center and a flower artist at the Flower Atelier.

KidZania aims to help children understand different careers, foster their creativity, and enhance vital skills such as teamwork, problem-solving, and communication. In most experience zones, instructors can provide guidance in English. There are also a variety of programs suitable for non-Korean speakers, including the Ramen R&D Center, Burger Lab, and Race Track. So, feel free to bring your kids along and let them explore these exciting experiences!

Pro tips

- Before heading to KidZania, check the website to see the current available experience zones and their locations.

- Upon arrival at KidZania, make sure to get a number ticket and go to the ticket counter.

- After receiving your ticket, head to the Time Ticket kiosk as soon as possible. Time tickets allow you to enter experience zones without waiting in line. They tend to be sold out quickly due to limited quantities, so arriving early is recommended. Each child can purchase two time tickets for 3,000 won each.

- Children under the age of 10 must be accompanied by a guardian aged 17 or older. If the child is 10 or older, they can enter alone, but the guardian is required to drop off and pick up the child in front of KidZania and sign a guardian consent form. In this case, the guardian must prove their relationship with the child, so bringing a passport for identity verification is necessary.

- If you’re looking for a stress-free experience, consider the English Trip option where an English-speaking guide takes care of your children throughout the day. This allows parents or guardians to have free time without entering KidZania. Meals and gifts are included in the package. Advance reservations are required, and the reservation website may not be available in English. You may need assistance from a Korean speaker. The participant of this should be a child 8 year or older and the ticket costs 149,000 won ($117). Ticket: English Trip

- You can buy a ticket on the website or on-site. Also, booking through phone calls or other websites that offer 15-30% of discounted prices are great alternatives. However, for these options, assistance from Korean speakers may be required.
