Located along Jinwi Stream, Sopung Garden is an amazing destination for family outings, offering a scenic walking and biking path surrounded by trees and flowers. It’s especially wonderful to visit during the fall when leaves and flowers paint the landscape beautifully. The park provides a wealth of cozy spots to relax and sit, so all you need to bring is your favorite picnic food and drinks.

The park features four themed areas to explore: Ihwa Garden features a traditional Korean garden landscape, Rainbow Garden with a rainbow bridge, Light Garden illuminated with captivating lighting, and Jijibaebae Garden with a small bamboo forest and pipes that deliver lively sounds of birds. Also, there are fun playgrounds for children that transform into a small water park in summer.

There is no fee required for entrance and parking, but if you’d like to enjoy additional activities like camping, extra fees are required.

Campsite Camping at the park allows you to capture stunning sunset views over the Jinwi Stream and enjoy a BBQ party amidst nature. Facilities such as showers and restrooms are available, but you should bring your own tents and camping equipment.

Please note that camping cars and pets aren’t allowed. Reservations must be made through the Interpark website, which is available only in Korean, so you may need assistance from a Korean speaker.

Baramsae Village Located a 5-minute walk from Sopung Garden, this small village is known for its large Pink Muhly grass field and other seasonal flowers, making it one of the best spots in Pyeongtaek for capturing autumn shots. Visitors can participate in a variety of activities such as handcrafting and cooking at Ecological Learning Center during weekends. Bringing pets is also allowed.

Since parking at the site is limited, it’s recommended to use the Sopung Garden parking lot and walk over to the village.
