Sacheon Cable Car Natural Recreation Forest Net Forest, a nature-themed adventure facility designed to foster children’s curiosity and exploration, will officially open in May.

The facility will undergo final maintenance and inspection throughout the month of April in preparation for its official opening. During this period, the city will focus on reinforcing safety and improving facility features based on user feedback received during its trial run.

The trial operation, which ended on March 31, invited participation from local kindergartens and daycare centers.

A total of 521 people — 441 children and 80 guardians — used the facility and provided valuable input. The city is reviewing this feedback to make meaningful improvements and ensure a safer and more enjoyable experience for future visitors.

The Net Forest, located near the Sacheon Cable Car, is expected to become a new nature-friendly play destination, offering children in the region a unique recreational space that combines physical activity with environmental interaction.
