Fun in Korea: Jinju Lakeside Music Festival taking place Aug. 16

The 20th Jinju Lakeside Music Festival will take place on August 16th at 7:30 p.m. on a special stage at Jinyangho Sunset Park.
Hosted by the Jinju Chapter of the Korean Music Association and sponsored by Jinju City and Korea Water Resources Corporation, this festival will feature the Jinju Pops Orchestra performing classical masterpieces, including Dvorak’s “New World Symphony,” “Hungarian Dance No. 5,” and more.
Guest performer Bin Ye-seo, from ‘Miss Trot 3’, will join the orchestra for a special performance.
The evening will also feature collaborations with soprano Kim Min-kyung and baritone Lee Seok-bin, as well as a performance by the Jinju Mothers’ Choir.
A unique audience participation event will also be held, offering a chance to perform with the orchestra.
