The Seoul Summer Vibe festival returns to Nodeul Island on June 13 and 14, kicking off the season with two days of music, dance, art, and eco-friendly experiences.

Hosted by the Seoul Metropolitan Government and the Seoul Foundation for Arts and Culture, the event has transformed into a large-scale cultural celebration open to all generations.

Originally launched as the Seoul B-Boy Festival in 2022, the event has been rebranded to include four main themes: Music Vibe, Dance Vibe, Arts Vibe, and Cool & Chill Vibe. The festival now goes beyond street dance to include a broader mix of pop culture, visual art, fashion, and sustainable living.

On June 13, the main stage will feature a mass singalong concert titled “Sing Together,” with artists like Harmonize, Breaking Symphonic, 10CM, and Big Ocean, Korea’s first hearing-impaired idol group. Sign language interpretation and inclusive access measures will ensure all visitors can enjoy the event.

June 14 continues the energy with 3-on-3 street dance battles, a K-pop random dance zone, and performances from Beatfella House and legendary hip-hop duo Dynamic Duo. Activities will run from 2:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.

The Arts Vibe section includes graffiti exhibitions and hands-on art experiences using upcycled materials, along with indoor exhibitions exploring the cultural role of the Han River. Cool & Chill Vibe features rest zones, skateboarding, beauty and fashion booths, and hands-on programs like clothing reform and eco souvenir making.

Accessibility has been expanded with services for visitors with disabilities, including sign language interpretation, wheelchair rentals, and barrier-free spaces. The festival also emphasizes environmental responsibility, with eco-friendly activities and upcycling-based exhibits.

All programs are free and open to the public. For more information, visit the Nodeul Island website (nodeul.org) or follow @seoul.summer.vibe on Instagram.
