KBS National Singing Contest Returns to Gimhae

The KBS National Singing Contest will take place on May 28th on a special stage in Sureungwon in Gimhae.

This event is set to celebrate and promote the success of the upcoming 2024 national sports festivals, including the sports festival for the disabled.

This marks the first return of the National Singing Contest to Gimhae in five years, since 2019.

The event will feature renowned MC Nam Hee-seok, along with performances by invited singers Eun Ga-eun, Cho Joo-jo, Yoon Soo-hyun, Ryu Ji-kwang, and Gimhae native Jeong Da-kyung.

Gimhae citizens, office workers, and students who wish to participate in the preliminary round can apply at their local administrative welfare center from May 10th to 20th. The preliminary round will be held at the Gimhae Arts Center Nuri Hall on May 26th, starting at 1 p.m.

The finals will take place on May 28th from 2 p.m. on the special stage in Sureungwon.

Approximately 15 teams that advance from the preliminary round will compete, with the grand prize winner and other awards being determined through the final screening.
