Visitors to Namsangol Hanok Village will be able to witness the Namsangol Hanok Village Taekwondo Performance every Friday to Sunday from April 19 to October 31, except during June 3 to August 29 when it will be temporarily closed due to maintenance work. To cover for the June to August closure, street performances will be held throughout Insa-dong, Myeong-dong, and Daehangno Street.

Main performance programs include traditional taekwondo performance and creative cultural performance. In the traditional taekwondo performance, visitors will be able to see various kinds of skills and moves performed by the Taekwondo Demonstration Team. During the creative cultural performance, visitors will be able to see a fun performance that combines taekwondo with k-pop, gugak (traditional Korean music), and musical songs. After the performance visitors will have time to experience taekwondo skills as well as take photos with the demonstration team.

Every Wednesday and Thursday, foreigners can join the taekwondo experience program free of charge. The program, run in English, includes basic taekwondo moves, breaking experience, and trying on taekwondo uniforms. With the program limited to 15 people per session, be sure to make a reservation ahead through the reservation website, phone or e-mail.
