Ulsan City, in collaboration with the Korea Tourism Organization and Korea Railroad Corporation (KORAIL), will operate a special one-day rail tour titled “Danbi Tour – Ulsan Rose Festival” on May 22, to coincide with the 17th Ulsan Grand Park Rose Festival, which runs from May 21 to May 25 at Ulsan Grand Park’s Rose Garden and Nammun Square.
The Donghae Line tour departs Gangneung at 5:28 a.m. and stops at Donghae, Samcheok, Uljin, and Yeongdeok, arriving at Namchang Station in Ulsan at 9:27 a.m..
Fares range from 55,000 to 75,000 won, covering round-trip train fare, local experiences, lunch, and a 10,000-won community donation. The Jungang Line tour from Cheongnyangni has already sold out.
The itinerary includes major experiences such as a visit to Oegosan Onggi Village, the Ulsan Grand Park Rose Festival, and participation in Seoldo Sound Walking, a coastal healing walk in Dong-gu.
Festival highlights include the Rose Valley Concert, parades, and various cultural performances.
