The U.S. Army will never stop honoring the service and sacrifice of Korean War veterans. The Korean War began 72 years ago on June 25, 1950 and the Battle of the Pusan Perimeter—one of the first large-scale battles of the Korean War—took place along the Naktong River and terrain near modern USFK installations such as Camp Carroll and Camp Mujuk.
