Insadong District in Seoul is a popular area with many museums and exhibition spaces of traditional culture and art. Amongst these are the Dynamic Maze and Alive Museum, perfect for a kid-friendly outing.

Both attractions are next door to each other, so it’s easy to enjoy them together. To start, explore the Dynamic Maze and then end your visit at Alive Museum, a trick art spot known for unbelievable pics. Here is what you need to know before you visit these great places your entire family will enjoy!

Dynamic Maze Prepare for an adventure at this vast maze where your kids will have to complete tasks, work together in teams, and use a variety of skills to find the exit. To escape the maze, visitors solve puzzles, play gsames and go through exciting obstacles along the way. This thrilling experience spans multiple rooms with mirrors, spider webs and pools.

Things to know

  • Entry requires a minimum of two people.

  • All children under 13 years must be accompanied by an adult.

  • Individuals must be above 100cm in height to enter.

  • Please remember to wear socks as shoes need to be removed inside.

Alive Museum

Alive Museum is filled with variety of vivid trick art exhibits offering visitors countless opportunities to capture fun and lively photos! As children explore the museum, they will feel like they’ve become movie heroes, and game or cartoon characters. The amusing experience allows them to create unforgettable and fantastic photos while fully engaging with the exhibits. Some of the exhibits also feature traditional Korean backgrounds like Hanok. Spend a fun time capturing great photos and memories with your kids.
