Blue Bottle Coffee has officially landed in Millak-dong in Suyeong-gu, making its mark as Busan’s latest must-visit destination for coffee lovers.
The café opened its doors on November 15th, with its location having Baeksan Mountain as a backdrop and views of Suyeong River and Suyeong Bay.
The store features a sleek, two-story design that blends seamlessly with its surroundings.
This marks Blue Bottle’s second location outside the Seoul metropolitan area, following its success in Jeju.
Known for bringing California’s specialty coffee culture to the world, Blue Bottle has continued its expansion across Korea, now having 16 locations nationwide since its debut in Seongsu-dong, Seoul, in 2019.
To celebrate the new opening, Blue Bottle is offering special items exclusive to the Busan location.
The Purple Sweet Potato Basque Cheesecake, inspired by Yeongdo, the birthplace of sweet potato cultivation in Korea, puts a local twist on a global favorite.
The Tokyo Kitsa Blend, a limited-edition coffee capturing the essence of Japanese teahouse culture, is also available for a short time.
Fans can also take home unique Busan-themed goods, including exclusive tea towels and commemorative merchandise.
Blue Bottle’s popularity in Busan was clear even before the café opened.
Last year, the Blue Bottle Coffee Truck drew long lines at Dongbaek Island and the Busan Film Archive, creating buzz for the brand’s eventual arrival.
