A potato-themed cultural experience is coming to Busan as Chuncheon’s iconic “Potato Village” is reimagined at Lotte Department Store Gwangbok Branch.

From July 25 to August 7, the department store’s Aqua Mall fountain square will host a playful and flavorful pop-up event titled Chuncheon Potato Tour (POTATO-UR).

Celebrating Chuncheon’s beloved crop, this immersive pop-up recreates the rural charm of a potato field right in the heart of the city.

Visitors can explore a multi-sensory space featuring local Chuncheon brands, potato-themed foods, unique props, and Instagram-worthy photo zones.

Participants in the ‘Potato Nature Festival’ zone include well-known regional names such as Potato Field, the premium Chuncheon potato brand; Potato Island, a craft beer company with a spud twist; Doctor’s Village Bear Hotdog, offering hotdogs with bear-leaf-shaped dough; and Potato Bridge, which offers quirky potato-themed merchandise.

Chuncheon’s mascot ‘Fortune’ makes special appearances across the venue, adding to the charm of this urban potato wonderland.

From heart-shaped potato sculptures to themed photo spots, the event caters to both trend-savvy youth and families alike.
