(The Kiwi Chamber)
This year’s Kiwi Wine Festival in Busan on May 24th welcomes four exciting first-time participants from New Zealand’s acclaimed wine regions, along with the globally celebrated Rippon Winery.
Bilancia, a boutique winery from Hawke’s Bay, is known for its philosophy of harmony and balance, producing standout Syrah and Pinot Noir.
Eva Pemper brings elegant, sustainably made wines from Marlborough, including Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay, and Rosé rooted in Croatian tradition.
Heaphy, based in Nelson, focuses on sustainable farming and regional character, with highly regarded Pinot Noir and Sauvignon Blanc.
Miha, also from Marlborough, combines quality winemaking with environmental advocacy by donating part of its profits to marine conservation.
Rippon Winery, situated near Lake Wanaka in Central Otago, is recognized worldwide for its biodynamic practices and breathtaking views. Named one of the most beautiful wineries in the world, Rippon adds both prestige and natural beauty to this year’s festival.
Each winery offers a distinct story and style, reflecting the diversity and innovation shaping the global wine scene.
Including a great variety of excellent food and entertainment, more than 20 New Zealand wines, featuring numerous premium wineries, will be on offer — more than the Seoul event, according to organizers.
This year’s event returns to the iconic Park Hyatt Busan in Haeundae and showcases a variety of award-winning wineries from New Zealand paired with a memorable culinary experience.
The event takes place from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. and is one of the city’s most anticipated events each year.
Tickets for the individual events are KRW 170,000 for Kiwi Chamber members, KRW 190,000 for non-members, and KRW 200,000 for at-the-door purchases. Group discounts are also available for KRW 170,000 per ticket for groups of eight or larger.
