Fun in Korea: Geoje Beer Festival returns to Jangseungpo Port on Aug. 29–30

The 2025 Geoje Beer Festival, the city’s signature summer celebration, will take place on August 29 and 30 at Jangseungpo Port Waterside Park in Gyeongsangnam-do.
This year’s festival, themed “Exciting! Enjoyable! Geoje-Style,” promises lively performances, a floating stage show, and unlimited cold draft beer against the scenic night views of Jangseungpo Port.
Visitors can enjoy live music, a DJ dance party, and appearances from popular singers, alongside performances by local arts groups.
Food vendors will also offer a range of dishes to pair with beer, while family-friendly events add to the program.
To ensure safety and sustainability, organizers will introduce reusable cups and deploy professional security staff.
Admission is 15,000 won at the gate, with discounts for advance bookings.
The festival runs from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. each evening.
