McDonald’s Korea has introduced two new menu items that incorporate local ingredients from Iksan, Jeollabuk-do, an area known for its high-quality sweet potatoes.

The additions include the “Iksan Sweet Potato Mozzarella Burger” and the “Iksan Sweet Potato Mozzarella Muffin,” both featuring croquettes made with Iksan-grown sweet potatoes and mozzarella cheese.

The burger, served after 10:30 am, combines a croquette patty, beef patty, fresh vegetables, and a spicy jalapeño mayo sauce.

The muffin version, available in the morning hours until 10:30 am, swaps the burger bun for an English muffin and includes a fried egg.

These items are part of McDonald’s ongoing effort to integrate regional flavors into its menu lineup.

However, availability is limited to select stores and may vary depending on local circumstances. McDelivery pricing and participation may also differ by location.

The promotion is not available at highway rest stop locations and will run for a limited time.
