(Namhae-gun)
The 20th Namhae Garlic Hanwoo Festival will take place from June 12 to June 15 at the Namhae Exile Literature Museum.
Since its launch in 2005, the festival has become a key regional event highlighting Namhae County’s signature agricultural products, garlic and Korean beef.
This year’s festival will feature five themed zones: a Theme Hall, Garlic Sales Zone, Korean Beef Grill Zone, Food Zone, and Family Zone. The Theme Hall, located inside the museum, will include exhibitions on Namhae garlic, Hanwoo, and the history of the festival.
Visitors can purchase locally grown garlic at the sales zone, with on-site delivery service available.
In the grill and food zones, visitors can sample locally produced Hanwoo and livestock dishes.
The Family Zone will host performances, hands-on activities, and a nighttime “Forest of Light” display.
The event also includes a food truck area, live music by national and local performers, a cooking show by chef Raymond Kim, and a drone light show on June 13.
Full festival details are available on the Namhae-gun Culture and Tourism website.
