“2024 Seoul Gourmet 100” unveiled: Top picks from Korean culinary experts

The Seoul Metropolitan Government has announced the “2024 Seoul Gourmet 100,” a curated list of 100 top restaurants and bars that showcase the city’s vibrant culinary culture.
Selected by 45 food experts, this list aims to elevate Seoul’s status as a global food destination.
Now in its fifth year, the Seoul Gourmet 100 includes an array of culinary experiences across seven categories: Korean, Asian, Western, Grill, Vegetarian, Café & Dessert, and Bars & Pubs.
This year, 28 new entries made the list, highlighting the evolving flavors and innovative approaches in Seoul’s food scene.
To celebrate this release, Seoul will host the “2024 Seoul Gourmet Week” from November 8 to 14.
This event invites both locals and tourists to explore Seoul’s culinary landscape, with various programs planned throughout the city.
On November 10, a special “Seoul Gourmet Awards” ceremony will take place at Nodeul Island, honoring chefs and contributors to Seoul’s culinary development with the prestigious “Taste of Seoul 2024” trophy.
