Starbucks Korea is significantly expanding its ‘Now Brewing’ service from 140 to 590 stores nationwide.

Originally introduced earlier this year on a trial basis, the service allows customers to receive certain drinks faster by ordering through Siren Order during peak times, such as commuting or lunch hours.

According to Starbucks, the ‘Now Brewing’ service has dramatically reduced customer waiting times and increased satisfaction, thanks to dedicated staff who prepare the drinks. In the top 10 stores where the service was implemented, 83% of orders were served within three minutes during peak hours.

With this expansion, Starbucks has also broadened the range of customers and beverages eligible for the service.

Initially available only to Gold-level members, the service is now open to Green-level members as well.

The selection of drinks has grown from five to eight, adding options like ‘Peach Iced Tea,’ ‘Dolce Cold Brew,’ and ‘Oat Cold Brew.’ The service is available immediately after the store opens, and the maximum number of orders per customer has increased from two to four.

Starbucks also plans to introduce a feature later this year that will inform customers of the expected waiting time, making the Siren Order, which has surpassed 500 million cumulative orders, even more convenient to use.
