The K-Beauty Experience & Promotion Hall, “Beauty Play,” will be operating at the Busan Special Exhibition Hall located in the Myeongdong branch through October 2.

Beauty Play is a K-Beauty experience and public relations center operated by the Korea Cosmetic Research Institute, supported by the Ministry of Health and Welfare. The center showcases high-quality products from small and medium-sized Korean cosmetics companies and offers a variety of beauty experience programs.

Since its opening in October 2021, the Myeongdong branch has exhibited products from 663 small and medium enterprises, attracting over 180,000 visitors. In February 2024, a new branch will open in Hongdae, further serving as a promotional and marketing platform for domestic small and medium-sized cosmetics companies.

The Busan Special Exhibition Hall has been established to promote the excellent products of Busan’s small and medium-sized cosmetics companies and to increase the brand awareness of Busan’s local cosmetics (B-Beauty). This initiative was made possible through active collaboration between Busan City and the Korea Cosmetic Industry Research Institute.

This pop-up exhibition features 16 small and medium-sized cosmetics companies from the Busan area, showcasing a variety of products, including skincare, body care, perfume, and tints. Visitors will have the opportunity to experience and purchase these products directly.

Additionally, the exhibition will offer a variety of programs, including guided product tours (docents), product testing and diagnostics, QR code-linked sales through an online mall, and counseling sessions with overseas buyers.

The city will hold the 2024 Chuseok B-Beauty Day (Busan Cosmetics Sale) event in the lobby of the City Hall on September 5.
