OSAN AIR BASE, Republic of Korea -- U.S. Air Force Airman 1st Class Luke Walton, 51st Security Forces respond team member, protects assets from simulated hostile forces during Ulchi Freedom Shield 24, at Osan Air Base, Republic of Korea, Aug. 22, 2024. Defenders are responsible for securing, protecting, and defending the base, its personnel, and resources. UFS 24 is an annual combined exercise conducted in support of the U.S.-ROK Mutual Defense Treaty that highlights the U.S. commitment to the alliance.
