KUNSAN AIR BASE, Republic of Korea -- Airman 1st Class Miguel Ramirez, 8th Force Support Squadron food service apprentice, was recognized as Kunsan’s ‘Pride of the Pack’ for the week of Dec. 9-13.

As the equipment custodian, he created a Defense Reutilization and Marketing Office list for $60k in equipment and facilitated the delivery of $650k of furniture for the new dining facility.

Ramirez also coordinated with the Logistics Readiness Squadron to secure a forklift to relocate 74k MREs, organizing them to prevent $920k in spoilage and food-borne illness for 2.8k Airmen.

Finally, Ramirez played a vital role in organizing two ‘Home Away from Home’ meals for Airmen across the base at the Son Light Inn.
