KUNSAN AIR BASE, Republic of Korea – To provide more support to the Wolf Pack, Brig. Gen. (sel) Patrick Miller, Pacific Air Forces logistics, engineering and force protection (A4) director, conducted battlefield circulation to Kunsan Air Base, ROK, Feb. 28, 2023.

The purpose of the visit was to learn what each squadron needs to thrive in today’s threat environment and pave a way forward for the A4 team to invest resources and time to back Kunsan’s “fight tonight” posture.

“We’re thankful for Gen. Miller’s willingness to take his time to come to the Pacific and dive into our infrastructure, speak with squadron leaders and those who put their ‘hand to the plow,’” said Col. Joseph Coughlin, 8th Mission Support Group commander. “Kunsan is not afraid to innovate.”

Miller received briefings from all rank levels to ensure the wing clearly communicated its roadblocks to optimal execution.

Visiting with mission support and maintenance Airmen from across the wing, Miller ensured Airmen felt his gratitude for what they’re doing here on the Korean Peninsula.

“I’m impressed by this team,” Miller said. “They are mission focused and have positive attitudes across the board. I have confidence in the team to execute the mission no matter what that is. I’m excited to see their mission execution play out with the upcoming infrastructure updates. This is a highly capable team who’s ready to get after it each and every day.”
