(City of Busan)

From August 15 to 25, the city of Busan, in collaboration with the Busan Tourism Organization, will host the “Boogi Summer Night Pop-up” event at Yongdusan Park.

Operating daily from 2 p.m. to 10 p.m. daily, this event features Busan’s communication character, Boogi, under the theme of a “Summer Night Rain” experience.

The “Boogi Summer Night Pop-up” is designed as an experiential night tour showcasing the charm of Busan’s nightlife. It is part of a broader initiative to promote the city as a night tourism destination, supported by a project from the Ministry of Culture, Sports, and Tourism.

Visitors to the pop-up will encounter six themed zones, starting with the 4-meter-tall “Mega Photo Zone,” perfect for capturing memorable photos with Boogi and the iconic Busan Tower.

Other attractions include a “Photo Booth,” a “Special Goods Zone” featuring exclusive Boogi merchandise, a “Travel Experience Zone” with interactive activities, a “Rest Zone” adorned with Boogi-themed decorations, and a “Flea Market Zone.”

Throughout the event period, special events will be held, including surprise appearances by Boogi, exclusive on-site activities, and a night parade show on August 25 featuring Boogi alongside Lotte World characters Lotty and Lori.

There will also be various social media events, including a follow-and-win campaign and a survey giveaway, where visitors can win limited-edition Boogi merchandise.
