(Busan Cinema Center)
‘Cine Museum Busan,’ an immersive movie-themed experience zone on the second floor of the Busan Cinema Center, has opened.
Covering 338 square meters, the new space is divided into six themed halls, each offering unique interactive attractions inspired by Busan’s cinematic heritage and global film culture.
Highlights include immersive exhibits like ‘Cinema Busan’, showcasing the city’s film history; ‘Retro Street’, a 1970s-style Busan street with nostalgic games; and the ‘Magic Mirror Room,’ filled with lanterns and reflective surfaces.
Visitors can also create their own AI-generated movie posters in ‘Romantic Slide’, and explore interactive displays in the ‘Infinity Media Room’.
To mark its launch, from May 1 to 6, the Cine Museum will host special events including free Ghibli screenings, mini field day games, face painting, and photo ops with Busan’s mascot Boogi.
All programs are open to the public at no cost.
