The city of Busan will host the “Oryukdo Two-Night” walking event, beginning at 6 p.m. on March 29 at Dadaepo Beach.

Sponsored by the city and Busan Tourism Corporation and organized by the Busan Walking Associations, the event offers three course options: a full 56-kilometer course, a half course of 22 kilometers, and a 7-kilometer sunset walk.

Participants will traverse a scenic route that starts at Dadaepo Beach, continues through Daeje Ecological Park and along the pass at Geumjeongsanseong, and finishes at Haeundae Beach by 9 a.m. the following day.

The route, designed to showcase Busan’s natural and cultural landscapes, integrates five distinct scenic paths and highlights six different aspects of outdoor enjoyment, from long-distance walking to the soothing sounds of the ocean.

All finishers will receive a certificate and souvenirs, while those on the half and full courses will also be provided with meals and snacks.

Additionally, the city plans to improve local walking routes by upgrading the Galmatgil app and refining related guidance systems.
