Busan One Asia Festival (City of Busan)
The 2025 Busan One Asia Festival (BOF), recognized as Asia’s premier K-content festival, will take place from June 11 to June 13 at BEXCO and will feature a range of performances and cultural events.
A special Park Concert is scheduled for June 7 at Hwamyeong Ecological Park, offering a free experience for the public.
Busan City, in collaboration with the Busan Tourism Organization and SM Culture & Contents Co., Ltd., is rebranding BOF as a major Korean Wave tourism attraction for the first half of the year.
First launched in 2016, BOF has grown into a significant platform for K-pop and K-culture, attracting young audiences from across the world.
This year, the festival aims to further establish itself as a global music festival, expanding beyond K-pop to include a broader range of K-culture experiences.
The festival’s main program includes a K-pop concert series at BEXCO, featuring performances over three days.
For the first time, the concerts will be held indoors, allowing for enhanced stage production and dynamic performances. The event will be structured into a K-pop omnibus concert and a band concert, presenting a variety of music styles.
Additional events will feature a New Artist Showcase, a K-Culture Talk Show, and Fandom City, offering interactive experiences.
The festival will also host K-beauty, K-art, and K-food programs, giving attendees an opportunity to immerse themselves in Busan’s cultural scene.
The first announced lineup includes WayV, a multinational boy group with strong popularity in the Chinese-speaking world, and NCT WISH, who have rapidly gained international recognition. NCT WISH recently completed a sold-out tour across six cities in Japan, underscoring their rising global influence.
Other highlights include performances by new artists, talks by leading K-culture figures, and experience zones such as the B-Market and Fandom City. The outdoor programs will provide global K-pop fans with diverse cultural experiences beyond music, enriching their visit to Busan.
Building on last year’s success, the Park Concert will return, taking place at Hwamyeong Ecological Park.
This free event aims to provide a relaxing musical experience, featuring performances by popular artists and local musicians.
Scheduled for a Saturday, the concert is designed to be a leisurely cultural outing, blending music with the natural scenery of Busan.
