The 2025 Starry Sea Busan Night Festa will run from July to October, offering a variety of themed nighttime programs as part of its growing night tourism brand.
This event, co-hosted by the Korea Tourism Organization and the Busan Tourism Organization, builds on Busan’s selection in 2023 as a Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism-designated Night Tourism City.
The Festa will feature nine major programs across the city, blending science, music, markets, and family-friendly entertainment. New and returning highlights include:
Science & Magic Kids Night Playground: A collaboration with the National Busan Science Museum, combining night science activities with magic shows for families.
Night Music Camp & Picnic Travel Show: Held at Dadaepo Beach Park in cooperation with Saha-gu, this evening picnic-style event will include live music, camping zones, and regional tourism promotion booths.
Night Pop-Up at Yongdusan Park: A downtown pop-up event targeting the MZ generation with emoticons, characters, and brand activations.
Night Market at Hwamyeong Ecological Park: Back by popular demand, this riverside market features traditional drinks, themed booths, and sunset views along the Nakdong River. The 2025 edition will expand from last year with more vendors and extended dates.
The Starry Sea Busan series has evolved into a key component of the city’s tourism appeal during the summer and early autumn months, drawing both domestic and international visitors with its blend of cultural, ecological, and family-centered activities.
