Air Busan will resume operations at Ulsan Airport on July 11, marking its return after a three-year, four-month hiatus since its withdrawal in March 2022.
The carrier will restart its Ulsan–Jeju route with two round-trip flights daily.
This move comes as part of the conditions imposed by the Fair Trade Commission following the finalized merger between Korean Air and Asiana Airlines in December 2023. Air Busan will operate at 90% of its 2019 seat capacity on the route and is expected to maintain service for the next 10 years.
Flights will begin with BX8301 departing Ulsan at 11:20 a.m. on July 11. Tickets go on sale starting May 21 at 9:00 a.m.
Ulsan to Jeju: BX8301 (11:20–12:35), BX8305 (18:10–19:20)
Jeju to Ulsan: BX8300 (09:20–10:30), BX8304 (16:20–17:30)
With Air Busan’s return, Ulsan Airport will operate a total of seven round-trip flights daily, including three to Gimpo and four to Jeju, shared among Air Busan, Korean Air, and Jin Air.
