The city of Busan is gearing up for the inaugural ‘Festival October’ (FESTIVAL SHIWOL), a unique convergence exhibition convention, set to be a major event in the city’s MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions) sector.

This new concept aims to boost Busan’s global standing as a tourist and convention hub.

Running from October 6th, the event will feature six major categories: Music, Film, Culture, Food, Business, and Technology, offering a wide array of content and performances. Key participants include six foreign embassies, nine international communities, and a variety of global cultural and culinary displays.

Over 44 performances and six international conferences have been confirmed, along with exhibitions of Busan’s signature dishes.

The festival will take place at BEXCO, with the outdoor space transformed into the “Siwol Village” and “Pavilion,” fostering networking opportunities.

Discounted integrated tickets are available, and special packages for international tourists have been launched.
