While the lottery and sports-betting with bookmakers such as horse racing, bullfighting, and cycling are all legal forms of gambling in South Korea, casino gambling is strictly prohibited to all Koreans. It’s illegal for Koreans to participate in casino gambling even outside of the country. Gangwon Land Casino (강원랜드) is the only place where Koreans can enjoy casino gambling legally in the country.
