KOREA
poinsettias at Seoul Botanical Garden

(Seoul City Government)

From November 14 to 24, Seoul Botanical Garden will showcase 760 poinsettias across 13 unique varieties, marking an early celebration of Christmas with colorful blooms.

This exhibition, held in partnership with the National Institute of Horticultural and Herbal Science, highlights poinsettias developed and cultivated in Korea, showcasing shades beyond the traditional red, including green, yellow, pink, and peach.

Visitors can explore the Mediterranean Hall’s diverse display, featuring notable varieties such as the red ‘Flame,’ light green ‘Lemonade,’ yellow ‘Clara White,’ peach-hued ‘Grace,’ and pink ‘Pink Bell.’

A specially designed photo zone, featuring a Christmas tree-inspired fountain and winter-themed pots, will bring holiday charm to the Roman area.

The Istanbul area offers a preview of new poinsettia varieties in development, with a survey available for visitors to share their preferences.
