The 18th Geoje Island Flower Festival, themed “A Healing Journey in Search of Flowers,” concluded successfully after attracting 210,000 visitors over its nine-day run from October 26 at the Geoje City Agricultural Development Institute.
Although the official festival has ended, unusually warm temperatures delayed the blooming of the chrysanthemums adorning the sculptures, and they will remain on display for voluntary viewing until November 17.
This year’s festival offered diverse experiences for all ages, including events like the Geoje Magistrate’s Inauguration, K-Hip-Hop Concert, Healing Fusion Korean Music Performance, the 12th Lee Si-woo National Song Festival, Youth Stocking Competition, and the Kindergarten Masters’ Wrestling Competition.
In addition to stage events, the festival featured high-quality cultural and artistic displays, as well as plant-based healing experiences.
Geoje officials expressed their appreciation for the festival’s success, encouraging visitors to return to enjoy the chrysanthemums in full bloom.
