The ‘Haeundae Autumn Chrysanthemum Festival’ is currently taking place on Gunam-ro and will run until the 20th.

Themed around relaxation and romance, the festival showcases a stunning array of purple aster chrysanthemums and other vibrant varieties, offering a perfect autumn escape.

As you approach Gunam-ro from Haeundae Station, visitors are greeted by the ‘H Gate,’ a welcoming archway named after the first letter of “Haeundae.”

The street is filled with photo opportunities, including a pink bookshelf sculpture, themed to match the fall season of reading, a charming flower cart, a purple gift box, and other playful sculptures, all set against the colorful backdrop of fall chrysanthemums.

For those looking to relax, the Purple Lounge or Pavilion offers a peaceful spot to sit and unwind. At night, the area is illuminated, creating a beautiful ambiance for evening visitors and tourists.

On October 18th and 19th, the festival will also host a direct market for agricultural specialties from Haeundae-gu’s sister cities.

Visitors will have the chance to purchase fresh produce from regions like Goseong-gun, Miryang-si, Hadong-gun, Hamyang-gun, Pohang-si, and Bonghwa-gun at discounted prices.
