Jeju Air is enhancing travel convenience for passengers in the Yeongnam region by launching and expanding international routes from Busan, while also strengthening its foundation for sustainable growth.
Starting October 27, Jeju Air will introduce new routes, including Kota Kinabalu (six times a week: Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday), Kaohsiung (three times a week: Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday), and Sapporo (five times a week: Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Sunday).
It will also resume flights to Saipan (twice a week: Tuesday, Friday) and Clark (four times a week: Wednesday, Thursday, Saturday, Sunday), while increasing service to Singapore from six to seven times a week.
With these additions, the total number of international routes from Busan will rise from 12 to 15, with weekly flights increasing from 89 to 99.
As 47% of the 3.12 million foreign visitors to Busan from January to August 2023 came from countries serviced by Jeju Air, the airline plans to capitalize on this demand by further expanding its winter flight schedule, aiming to attract even more international travelers.
