Low-cost carriers in the country are ramping up their international routes from Busan.

Jeju Air announced three new routes starting October 27, including Busan-Kota Kinabalu (6 times a week), Busan-Kaohsiung (3 times a week), and Busan-Sapporo (5 times a week).

Additionally, the Busan-Singapore route will increase to daily service, boosting Jeju Air’s Busan international routes from 12 to 15. The airline aims to capture regional demand and offer more flexible travel options.

Jin Air recently launched a new Busan-Nagoya route (7 times a week) and resumed its Busan-Taipei service. Jin Air now operates 15 domestic and international routes from Busan, four more than in 2019.

Air Busan also confirmed the new Busan-Bali route (4 times a week) starting October 30, the longest international route from Gimhae Airport.

The airline is also preparing a Busan-Jakarta route.
