Kakao Friends character zone opens in Busan’s Gwangalli

Suyeong District has announced the launch of the 2025 Gwangalli Character Zone under the theme “Friends Tour IN Gwangalli,” set to run from July to August 2025 in front of Homers Hotel along Gwangalli Beach’s Beach Road.
The project features Kakao Friends characters, including fan favorites Ryan and Chunsik, placed in themed photo zones designed to attract visitors and enhance the area’s visual appeal.
The initiative aims to boost foot traffic along the beachfront while promoting Gwangalli as a lively and family-friendly destination during the summer tourism season.
Each summer the district promotes characters during summer, including Pororo.
